The training and placement cell of this college manages placement activities. The cell of the institute centrally helps the student during their course of study as well as after their passing out from the Institute. It also arranges faculty development programs, Expert lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Field visit in association with NITTTR Chandigarh and NIELIT Rupnagar to update the knowledge of the students and staff regarding recent developments in the world of technology.

Memorandum of Understanding Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar iHub - AWaDH @ IIT Ropar and Govt. Polytechnic College Rupnagar. Memorandum of Understanding has been done under the guidance of our worthy minister Harjot Singh Bains , project Director 🌟 This MoU aims to formalize a strategic collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar and Govt. Polytechnic College Rupnagar to foster research, innovation, and capacity-building in emerging technologies such as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), and emerging technologies through joint initiatives, training programs, and the establishment of an IIT Ropar Cyber Physical Systems (CPS Lab).

The training and placement cell motivates students for self employment by arranging entrepreneurship camps and provides guidance and counseling to the students regarding raising of finance and resources much needed for self employment.  Apart from IIT Ropar, Our Institute have also signed MoU with following companies for placement.
