visited Government Polytechnic College, Rupnagar to conduct mock interviews for the final-year students of Diploma in Chemical Engineering on 6th April 2026.
We are thrilled to announce that 24 students from our 6th Semester batch-2023 have successfully

✨ Ed-Vantage 2026 | Career Workshop ✨
✨ Students from GPC Rupnagar attended Ed-Vantage 2026, a two-day career-focused workshop organized by the Metallurgical and Materials Society (MetSoc), IIT Ropar on 16th & 17th January 2026.
✨This workshop was aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, helping students explore diverse career pathways including industry, research and higher studies.

✨ An Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) was conducted for the students of Government Polytechnic College, Rupnagar
with the objective of motivating young learners to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
The program aimed to equip students with basic knowledge of business creation, innovation, and self-employment opportunities in the modern economic environment.

🌟 A Parent's Orientation Session was organised to focus on the upcoming semester internship for diploma students.The session was held in the presence of Our Principal Dr. Navneet Walia and Incharges/Heads of Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engg. department.

This MoU aims to formalize a strategic collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar and
Govt. Polytechnic College Rupnagar to foster research, innovation, and
capacity-building in emerging technologies such as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS),
Internet of Things (IoT), and emerging technologies through joint initiatives, training programs,
