🌟 A Parent's Orientation Session was organised to focus on the upcoming semester internship for diploma students.The session was held in the presence of Our Principal Dr. Navneet Walia and Incharges/Heads of Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engg. department.
🌟It highlighted the importance of industrial internships in enhancing student's professional skills, technical competence, and employability.
🌟Parents were encouraged to support their wards in exploring opportunities beyond their home district or state, helping them adapt to new environments, embrace workplace challenges, and grow holistically.

This MoU aims to formalize a strategic collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar and
Govt. Polytechnic College Rupnagar to foster research, innovation, and
capacity-building in emerging technologies such as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS),
Internet of Things (IoT), and emerging technologies through joint initiatives, training programs,
and the establishment of an IIT Ropar Cyber Physical Systems (CPS Lab). Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar also involved our other Polytechnic colleges Govt. Polytechnic College Khunimajra,
Govt. Polytechnic College Batala, Govt. Polytechnic College Patiala and Govt. Polytechnic College Badbar for MoU in the presence of

✨Directorate Technical Education recognizes the significant role of alumni in strengthening the Technical Education ecosystem.
The objective of the session is to build strong professional connections between students and alumni,
to share real-world insights about careers, to guide students in career planning, internships, and skill development.
This would help improve academic and placement processes.
✨ In the view of above, an alumni interaction session was conducted at Govt. Polytechnic College Rupnagar.
Our alumni Avneet Kaur Diksha Diksha and Jasmeet Kaur from batch 2022 interacted and shared their experiences, insights, and advice with current diploma students.
✨ Understanding and Strengthening Mental Health✨
✨A great initiative — holding a session on mental health for students can make a big difference in awareness, resilience, and help-seeking behaviours.
✨The session was conducted by Ms. Prabhjot Kaur Counsellor, De-addiction Centre, Ropar.
It was highly informative and enlightening, focusing on the importance of mental well-being, stress management, and emotional balance among students.
Under the "Swachhta Hi Seva" Abhiyaan, a Poster making activity was performed by various students. This event was a part of the nationwide initiative "EK DIN, EK GHANTA, EK SAATH", and aimed to promote hygiene and cleanliness within the campus by indulging students through campus clean-up drive.
